Smartphone sales dipped in Q4 2020 While IDC had said that the final quarter of 2020 had witnessed 4.3 percent growth in the smartphone segment, Gartner paints a slightly grim picture. As per the report, smartphone sales actually shrank by 5 percent in Q4 2020 as compared to Q4 2019. In all, 384.62 million smartphones were sold in Q4 2020 as compared to 406.64 in Q4 2019. Also, by removing Orkut permanently from your Google account, your posts or name won’t be included in the community archive. Also, former Orkut users will be unable to log in or export their photo albums to Google+ once the service gets closed. This is an unexpected move, as it would’ve made more sense for Google to allow this, and it would’ve helped to increase the number of active Google Plus users, as well....
