A design that will definitely invite a second glance After following broadly conventional lines for most of its premium flagships, OnePlus has decided to take a design road less traveled for the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G (hence referred to as “OnePlus 10 Pro” for the sake of simplicity). Whether one likes it or not, what cannot be denied is that it definitely makes the device stand out from the routine flagship crowd and makes it perhaps the most distinct OnePlus since the OnePlus 7T, with its circular camera unit....

Sure, we all are used to the latest version of Android taking its time to trickle down to existing and older devices, leading to the much-documented “Android fragmentation” issue. But we had been informed that that was because manufacturers elaborate skins on Android made updating it a problem. And as we’re getting closer to the release of the next-generation OnePlus 2, it seems that the company is more and more interested in getting as many sales as possible from the current one. Obviously, once the next-gen gets released, that’s what consumers will be most interested in. OnePlus will perhaps even further discount the OnePlus One, but the biggest share of sales should be coming from the OnePlus 2....

The alpha build of “yet to be named” custom ROM based on Android Lollipop is now available for download. OnePlus clarifies that the ROM is extremely close to “stock” AOSP and contains no extras as of now. OnePlus hopes to get the help from its user community to further develop this custom ROM, and eventually make it “customizable, yet bloat-free with stock-Android-like simplicity by default”. OnePlus is expected to release a production ready build of this new custom ROM by February 2015....

The OPPO Mirror 3 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8916 1.2GHz 64-bit Quad-core processor and an Adreno 306 GPU. It runs on Android 4.4-based Color OS 2.0.1, featuring a variety of gesture operations. It also gets 1GB of RAM and 8GB of in-built storage which can be expanded up to 128GB with an external microSD card. On the camera field, the OPPO Mirror 3 features an 8MP SONY IMX179 Backside Illuminated (BSI) sensor, with a sensor size of 1/3....

Oppo Reno Standard Edition The Oppo Reno Standard Edition smartphone features a 6.4-inch full HD+AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 2340 × 1080 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by a 10nm-based Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset with Adreno 616 GPU, paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
