According to a post by Google, their newest flagship, the Pixel 3 will soon expand eSIM support for more carriers across different countries. A December update, that rolled-out yesterday, will extend eSIM support for Sprint in the US, EE in the UK, Airtel and Reliance Jio in India, and Truphone and Gigsky in various countries. In addition to that, users in Germany will soon be able to get a Pixel 3 running eSIM from Deutsche Telekom and Vodafone, which are expected to tie-up with Google-Fi on this soon. Also, users in the US can directly head to a Google Store or Google-Fi store and get a Pixel 3 device running eSIM. Adding more to the blog, Google said, they are also working on a program that would make it easier for Android manufacturers to build eSIM-capable smartphones, which means, we are soon going to notice more manufacturers opting for an eSIM and replacing the old traditional SIM to provide users with seamless experience across all the devices.
