The Honor Smart Bracelet 3 is another attempt by the Huawei sub-brand to crack the fitness tracker market. Unlike Xiaomi, the company has failed to taste much success in this category. Recently, the high-flying Chinese OEM launched its Honor Band A2 in China for a price of 199 Yuan ($30).

Honor Smart Bracelet 3

The latest Honor Smart Bracelet 3 comes with all the features one expects from a smart fitness tracker. The smart band comes with an improved design. The tracker is now integrated onto the TPU wristband and can’t be removed for charging. Instead, one has to use a dedicated two pin charger for charging the Honor Smart Bracelet 3.

The Honor Smart Bracelet 3 comes with an AMOLED display and a continuous heart rate tracker. Besides, it can calculate steps, calories burnt, kilometers covered and sleep duration. Honor further claims that the smart band can survive underwater up to 50 meters. So, you can easily go for a swim wearing this watch. Honor claims that its latest fitness tracker is best suited for sports professionals including swimmers.

The Honor smart band comes in two variants. The top of the line variant come with NFC and is priced at 269 Yuan($39). On the other hand, the standard variant priced at 229 Yuan($34) will miss out on the NFC technology. The band comes with up to 45 days of standby time. The Honor Bracelet 3 comes in three color hues namely black, orange and blue. It will be available for sale on the official website starting June 12.

Honor Smart Scale

Besides the smart band, Honor also unveiled its first smart scale. The smart scale has the capability of measuring not just your weight but also your basal metabolic rate, body fat, muscle weight, etc. It can be controlled directly from the smartphone using a dedicated smart scale app. Honor didn’t indulge much into the technical specifications of the scale at the launch event. It is priced at 199 Yuan ($29) and will go on sale starting June 18. The Honor Smart Scale is available for pre-orders starting today via its official store, Jingdong, Lynx and Suning Tesco.

Honor Smart Environment Monitor

Apart from that, Honor also announced a smart environment monitor at the event. The smart gadget is capable of monitoring the surrounding environment in real time. It can detect more than 300 types of volatile organic compounds and PM 2.5 particles. Further, the Honor Smart Environment Monitor can detect the temperature and the humidity of the room it’s placed in. Honor claims that the gadget has a monitoring accuracy of 0.0001mg/cubic meter. The smart monitor can also turn on a smart purifier or an AC when the air quality or the temperature of the room crosses the desired value. Needless to say, the Honor Smart Environment Monitor comes with a dedicated smartphone app. It is spherical in shape and comes in a number of hues including black, white and light blue. The Honor Smart Environment Monitor comes with up to 5 days of battery life. It is priced at 599 Yuan and will go on sale in China on July 18.
