Moto G 5G: Design and Display
In terms of design, the Moto G 5G features a plastic build with a squarish camera module to house the triple-camera array. The back also has a fingerprint scanner, with the Motorola branding on top, for authentication. Towards the front, there is a 6.7-inch (LCD) display, which offers a Full-HD+ resolution and has a hole-punch cutout to house the front-facing camera. The Moto G 5G comes with an IP52 rating and is available in two colors: Volcanic Grey and Frosted Silver.
Moto G 5G: Performance
Under the hood, the Moto 5 5G runs on the Snapdragon 750G chipset, which makes it the first smartphone in India to be powered by the Snapdragon 750G. The chipset allows for 5G connectivity on budget smartphones, for which it uses the same X52 5G modem-RF system found on the Snapdragon 765G. It offers up to 2.2GHz of clock speed and features the Adreno 619 GPU to handle the graphics processing. The device comes coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which can be further expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card. To power the internals, there is a 5000mAh battery with 20W TurboPower charging. For connectivity, the device offers 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC. It includes a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. On the software front, the device runs on Android 10 out of the box.
Moto G 5G: Camera
In the camera department, the Moto G 5G sports a triple camera setup on the rear with an LED flash. This setup includes a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture accompanied by an 8MP (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 118-degree FoV and a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. Towards the front, the device has a single 16MP shooter with an f/2.2 aperture.
Moto G 5G: Pricing and Availability
The Moto G 5G comes in only one variant: 6GB + 128GB. It is priced at Rs 20,999 and will be available on Flipkart starting December 7.
