First, let’s talk about the premium Moto Z Style, it will reportedly feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display up front stepping down from 5.7-inch last year, and is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820. There will be most probably two variants, one with 3GB of RAM and another with 4GB RAM. Both are expected to sport 32GB of internal storage. On the camera front, it will rock a 13MP rear sensor with laser auto focus and Optical Image Stabilization. Unfortunately, the battery is going to be a disappointing 2600mAh which could become one of the major drawbacks here. The main highlight it will flaunt, although, is modular components support and a slim aesthetics measuring 5.2mm in thickness. There will be a fingerprint scanner on the front just like the recently unveiled Moto G and guessing from the leaked image, accessories will be connected through what looks like pogo pins. Next up is the Moto Z Play, it will offer a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED panel, will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 Octa-Core processor and a massive 3500mAh battery which too is a step down from 3630mAh we saw last year. There will be two variants, 2GB RAM along with 16GB internal storage and 3GB of RAM with 32GB storage. The Z Play may or may not feature Z Style’s modular approach, this is something which we will be curious to see as it could bring modular design on a budget. There will be a 16MP (Z Style will come with 13MP?) rear shooter with laser auto-focus and the phone will measure at 7mm in thickness. Specifications wise everything seems to be leveled down here from the camera to the battery, that may be mostly to embed modular internals in a thin body. These are still initial hints and have equal chances of being untrue. We will have to wait until 9th June when Lenovo is expected to announce them officially.
