Moto M is Motorola’s new mid-range smartphone. Design wise, the Moto M looks like a nicely built product, with an all-metal unibody enclosure that curves gently towards the sides on the rear. It’s quite slim too at 7.85 mm in the thinnest area. That aside, just like many Motorola smartphones, this too comes with a double layer of nano-coating for protecting it from accidental water splash. Up front, the Moto M comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display and features a Moto logo just below it. Powering the phone is a 2.2GHz octa-core Helio P15 with Mali T860MP2 GPU. This is mated with 4GB RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. Talking of cameras, the Moto M comes with 16MP rear shooter that comes equipped with PDAF and Dual Tone LED flash. Besides, there’s an 8MP front camera module for clicking selfies and making video calls. Underneath the slim unibody shells also lies a 3050mAH battery which comes with fast charge (Turbocharging) support. On the connectivity front, the Moto M comes equipped with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. The Motorola Moto M retails in Gold and Silver colors and is priced at 1999 yuan (apprx.Rs19,608/$294). The device will be available on Lenovo website, jd.com and other online retail stores. Moto M will go on sale in China starting from November 11th. There are no reports of its launch outside of China (including India). Stay tuned for any additional details.
