Motorola Razr: Design and Display

In terms of design, the Razr follows the same design principle as the OG Razr that built on the flip-phone form factor, except that it does the same by incorporating a display that folds into half. Talking about the display itself, the phone features two displays: a 6.2-inch pOLED primary panel on the inside and a 2.7-inch one on the outside. The main display comes with a 21:9 aspect ratio and offers a 2142 x 876 pixels screen resolution, while the smaller display is a gOLED panel that serves as a secondary display for viewing notifications and other basic information.

Motorola Razr: Performance

At its core, the Motorola Razr is powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor, which is an octa-core chip manufactured on the 10nm process, with Adreno 616 GPU. The processor comes coupled with 6GB of LPPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. To power the internals, the device includes a 2510mAh with 15W TurboPower fast charging. For connectivity, there is support for dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, and NFC. As for other specifications, the Razr comes with USB Type-C, bottom-firing speakers, and a fingerprint sensor for authentication. On the software front, it runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box.

Motorola Razr: Camera

In the camera department, the Razr sports a single 16MP primary shooter on the rear, which is a Sony IMX519 sensor that comes with f/1.7 aperture, EIS, Dual Pixel autofocus (AF), and Laser AF. Towards the front, it has a 5MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies.

Motorola Razr: Pricing and Availability

The Motorola Razr comes in only one configuration: 6GB + 128GB, and is priced at Rs 1,24,999, which seems a bit on the pricier side compared to the Galaxy Z Flip that comes with flagship specifications for Rs 1,09,999 (Motorola Razr vs Galaxy Z Flip comparison). As for the availability, the phone is already up for pre-order starting today and will be available starting April 2 on Flipkart.
