The biggest highlight of the new processors is the fact that they are now compatible with two rear camera sensors. Both of them support up to a pair of 8-megapixel lenses. For single arrangements, the Snapdragon 439 can power a 21-megapixel snapper, while the Snapdragon 429 is limited to 16-megapixel. The Snapdragon 439 supports a maximum resolution of Full HD+ and the Snapdragon 432, HD+. Performance upgrades are largely marginal on these new processors especially in the case of the Snapdragon 439....

International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) catchers are eavesdropping devices that are being used for intercepting mobile phone traffic and tracking the movement of smartphone users. The guys over at Techopedia have a slightly more detailed explanation: Security experts have discovered security flaws that could allow hackers to listen to private calls and read text messages by using IMSI catchers or ‘stingrays’. So if you are concerned about these things, the new SnoopSnitch can detect IMSI catchers and warn smartphone users if their devices are giving up their personal information....
