Realme says it has introduced a new design language on the Buds Air 2, which it suggests inherits the curvy aesthetics of the previous generation (Buds Air) while also adopting a two-one color splicing design. In addition, the earbuds are said to have undergone what Realme calls a “matte process” that prevents fingerprints and smudges on the surface and ensures the earbuds stay securely in your ear. The earbuds come in at 4.1 grams and are available in two colorways: Black & Blue and Silver & White. On the inside, the Buds Air 2 has Realme’s custom R2 chip. This chip features improvements over the chip from the previous generation and brings in support for active noise cancelation (ANC). It includes support for Bluetooth 5.2 and promises a 35% reduction in latency. Driving sound on the Buds Air 2 is a 10mm (diamond-class, Hi-Fi) driver. And, to add to the experience, there is support for AAC codec, along with the ability to adjust the sound to your preference using the 3 EQ presets on the Realme Link app.
Talking about other features, the Buds Air 2 comes with auto-connection and Google Fast Paid functionalities, which let you set up your device quickly. In addition, they offer smart wear detection to pause/play music when you take them out/put back in your ear. Similarly, you also get touch controls that let you perform quick actions. Lastly, the Buds Air 2 claim to offer up to 25 hours of playback time, with the case. Realme says a single charge lasts up to 5 hours, and 10 minutes of charging provides 120 minutes of playback time.

The Realme Buds Air 2 is priced at Rs 3,299. It will be available starting March 2 on Flipkart and realme.com.
