As the name indicates, the Indy ANC are of the well-known Indy series, and well, they come with the Personal Sound option that customizes the listening experience for every user, provided you use the Skullcandy app for it. Also promised are an “enhanced” fit and the ability to use each bud on its own if needed. Battery life stands at a very respectable 19 hours with ANC running, and the buds come with IPX4 sweat and water resistance. “Skullcandy products are always made with our fans in mind as we look to infuse new technologies in our headphones and earbuds,” said Amlan Bhattacharjya, CEO, Brand Eyes, Distributor of Skullcandy in India. “When it came to Indy ANC we listened — giving our most popular line the upgrades that customers have been wanting. We stand behind building quality products for every experience. Indy ANC do just that!”

A lot is going to depend on audio and sound quality and it will be interesting to see if Skullcandy goes for its traditional heavy bass signature or opts for a slightly more balanced sound. Interestingly, Skullcandy seems to have opted to go for a slightly more premium-priced product for its entry into the ANC TWS segment – considering that there are TWS available at less than Rs 4,000 at the time of writing. In terms of price, these would go up against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ and the Oppo Enco X, as well as even non-ANC options from Sennheiser and Sony. We will let you know how they fare in comparison. But it is always good to see more options in the market.
