For this year, Google is believed to be working on a refreshed Nexus 5 developed by LG and on a larger-sized Huawei-made handset. Leakster Evan Blass (@evleaks) is hinting at some of the probable hardware specs of the Huawei Nexus, saying that the device will get a 5.7-inch Quad HD display along with the yet in development Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC. Furthermore, Blass claims the phone will get a metal body which will be the first time when this will happen for a Nexus-branded device. A fingerprint scanner is also believed to make its way, which isn’t that surprising, as we already know that Android M will get native support for fingeprint reading.   The handset is expected to ship in Q4 2015, which is on par with Google’s usual late autumn release cycle. Launching after the next-gen iPhones and the upcoming Galaxy Note 5 might be a double-edged sword. While it will potentially allow them to modify their products to better compete with those that are already on the market, Google and its partners might lose many of its potential customers as they will have made their purchases already.
