The AirDots Pro 2s feature a similar design as the older model, and they include a 14.2mm driver with support for LDHC/SBC/AAC codes. The company says the earphones come with semi-in-ear design, which ensures they fit your ear canal and don’t fall off easily, while also being comfortable. Besides, there is support for smart voice controls and an infrared sensor that automatically pauses/resumes music when you take them out of the ear. The earphones come with dual microphones, which aids with Environment Noise Cancelation and voice controls. Among other things, the AirDots Pro 2s offer automatic pairing with devices running on MIUI. So as soon as you take them out of their case, the earphones are paired with your phone. Moreover, Xiaomi says it has improved the Bluetooth chip on the new models to ensure there is less latency between the two earpods and that they offer a more stable connection. Last, but certainly not the least, the earphones come with support for Qi wireless charging. As per the company claims, the battery on the newer model lasts up to 5 hours (standalone) and 24 hours (with the charging case).
Moreover, the earphones come with Hi-Res audio and support audio codecs like LDHC, SBC, and AAC, which is something to cheer for given the price tag they carry.
Xiaomi AirDots Pro 2s: Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi AirDots Pro 2s comes in White color. It is priced at CNY 399 (~ USD 56) and will be available in China starting April 9. There is no news of its launch in India or anywhere else globally.
